The "
Esprit Pays des Vallées? quality system was initiated by the Department of Tourism and European Programmes of the BEP within the scope of the provincial tourism development guidelines and is in line with the framework of the Walloon quality plan as a pilot system.
The "
Esprit Pays des Vallées" quality system is a
certification system for operators that observe the quality criteria defined in reference charters, with a specific charter for each type of operator:
- charter specific to hotels
- charter specific to chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfasts)
- charter specific to gîtes
As an addition to the current regional regulations which sets the levels of quality (stars, ears (épis)), the registered brand "Esprit Pays des Vallées" is not just a logo proudly displayed on the façades of hotels, gites and chambres d'hôtes in Namur, this label represents the difference, the added value... which offers the charm, character, quality and welcome and aims to reassure tourists about the quality of the product purchased and to provide an identity for the Namur region.
